On May 18th, Academician Huang Boyun of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Honorary Chairman of Boyun Oriental, along with leaders including Yang Xianfeng, Executive Director and Secretary of the Party Committee of AECC South Industry Co., Ltd., Huang Xuehuai, Chief Engineer and Deputy General Manager, Ning Yong, Special Commissioner, Yi Chushan, Chief Metallurgist, and Wang Yuncheng, Chief Professional Engineer, visited Central South University for guidance and exchange. Li Yongxia, Chairman of Boyun Oriental, gave a detailed introduction to Academician Huang Boyun, Secretary Yang Xianfeng and other leaders on the progress of the industrialization project at Lugu Base.

AECC South Industry Co., Ltd.: Mainly engaged in the manufacturing of aero-engines, aviation subcontracting, gas turbines, optomechatronic products, aviation models, etc., it is affiliated to Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC). Founded in October 1951, it is one of the 156 key construction projects during the country's "First Five-Year Plan" period, one of the first six aviation industry enterprises established by the state, and one of the first 57 enterprise groups piloted by the state.

The extra-coarse grain cemented carbide developed by Boyun Oriental has a WC grain size of more than 9 μm, with performance reaching the international advanced level, making it a leader in mining alloy products.
