Comrade Chang Yiming: Born in 1987, he is an engineer and an outstanding R&D engineer of Boyun Oriental. He obtained his bachelor's degree in physics from Wuhan University and graduated with a master's degree from the University of Lyon 1 in France in 2013. He joined Boyun Oriental in 2014 and has been working at the Boyun Oriental Research Institute ever since. Meanwhile, making due contributions to the country and society is also one of his important life goals. Comrade Chang Yiming firmly believes that "only by focusing on doing every small thing well can we overcome all difficulties and achieve success." When he first joined the company, he knew that only through practical operations could he fully understand technical issues and lay a solid foundation for his future work. Therefore, he started with basic operations such as participating in the preparation of binders, mixing materials, and disassembly and assembly of extruders, learning from experienced operators to gradually familiarize himself with the entire extrusion forming process. On this basis, he carried out a series of process improvement tests to gradually stabilize the process and reduce waste products. Starting from 2015, he took charge of communicating with foreign extrusion expert consultants. During this period, he conducted a lot of statistical summaries, picture shooting and video recording. The experts' suggestions have greatly helped the company improve its processes and correct problems, especially the quality of compacts for large-diameter round rods has been significantly improved compared with before. In addition to continuously improving the process of spiral-hole rods and striving to enhance their stability and qualification rate, Comrade Chang Yiming has also participated in the process improvement of other cemented carbide products.
