Academician Huang Boyun, as the honorary chairman of PM, is the leader of PM’s R&D innovation team including chariman Li Yongxia, vice president Zou Dan, vice president Liu Yanjun and chief engineer Cheng Xulin etc. "Innovation" is the core concept of PM.The innovation team of PM is devoted to researching advanced technology, aiming at the world's top-class technology of nano and extra-coarse-grained cemented carbide. In 2022, PM’s new achievement that WC grain size reaches the data of 0.11 μm is a innovation of PM’s R&D team. In 2021, the WC grain size of PM’s extra-coarse-grained cemented carbide reaches the data of 9μm makes PM’s carbide provide much better performance.PM has won 2 provincial and ministerial-level first prizes for scientific and technological progress, 22 national patents, and drafted 1 national standard of carbide .
